Moab Dinosaur tracks
I was hoping to get some pics of the Jeep next to a Dinosaur track, I know their are a lot of Dinosaur tracks around Moab, but not sure were to find them.
Can some that's good at giving directions please tell me how to find some?
Thanks

Ok, jeep next to tracks may be hard. There are some tracks north of town on 191. The area is called Copper Ridge. It's on the easy side of the road sort of across from the airport.
If this isn't good enough let me know and I'll try to give you better info.

If I remember correctly, at the end of the Tower Arch trail there was at least 1. Tower arch trail as described in the Wells trail guide book. I think it was along willow springs road but not sure of that.

There are a set of prints at Poison Spyder trail head, there are some on Willow Springs road not far from the highway & there are also some on the La Sal loop road heading up to Gateway. If you google those, there may be some maps online

Sauropod Dinosaur Tracks
Also some on Hell's Revenge about 0.6 miles into the trail after you take a left at the fence (going from memory here so beware).
No signs - you just have to have done your homework and know where to look (you can see Lion's Back from the tracks).

As mentioned earlier, you can drive pretty close to a few just off of 191 north of Moab, GPS coords are roughly: N 38° 49.900 W 109° 45.723
Also on the La Sal Pass, you can't drive next to these but they're only a short walk away, GPS coords: N 38° 37.004 W 109° 13.421

I picked up a rock for my garden that looked like it would make a good bird bath, so it's been sitting with water in it for about 12 months. Last week when I was out there it had dried but all the dirt that was stuck in it has loosened & washed out. It is a footprint of a bear or something, I was very excited to see it ,didn't notice what it was before
