1" Lift(s)
Ok. 1" might have been a little understated. I have been reading over at the roughcountry.com site.
for the 1 3/4....what do you get my buying their optional shocks to go with the spacer lift.....
as in.....what advantages do you get with longer shocks....
Also.....if you replace the shocks or not, do you have to ANYTHING with the bumpstops....?

The bumpstops are not affected in any way, the spring slides out without having to even touch the bumpstop....so it's just pull the spring out, put the spacer in.
Here's a write-up on an OME 2" spacer lift...basically the same steps I went through with my RC 1.75". There's a few parts that you can disregard with the RC 1.75", but this will give you an idea of what to expect....

That sound's awesome JK-KJ....do you have any before after pics of your setup. How much did you pay. Do you think I could squeez in 35" tires or maybe 34.5....
I'll probably start with a 33x12.50 but I'd like to have options....
hmmm early future mod list
33x12.50 tires
wheels
1 3/4" lift
black fuel filler door
bestop stuff...duster, windjammer, safari
there's 3k right there....
going for a simple clean look.

Here's mine before...

I paid around $185 for the 1.75" lift, a Rough Country hat, a new front steering stabilizer, and a Rough Country decal. Not a bad deal.
Squeezing in 35's? Maybe so, unless you plan on flexing much....just driving around town i'm sure it'd be fine but off road I probably wouldn't do it myself....33's for sure though.

I was looking for something 2" or less too. I'm considering the 2" Black Diamond, 1.75" Daystar and the 2" BDS coil and spacer kits. The BDS kits are probably better, but they cost more. I liked the Black Diamond because it has front and rear bump stops. The daystar looked good too, but I couldn't find much feedback on it. Has anyone had any experience with the Daystar 1.75" kit? It comes with coil spacers, front bump stops and rear swaybar drop down brackets but no rear bump stops. Also, what exactly is the purpose of the drop down brackets since the other kits don't seem to include them?

hmm interesting, don't know, but would like the same answers!
also, will a 1.75 lift, give you any additional width clearance.... for say a 325 tire?
I ran a 2.5" lift for a year with 35's (street and off-roading). In my opinion, this would be the lowest I would go with 35's. I think any smaller and you're going to get a lot of rub when off-roading.
It will also depend on the width of your tire you choose.
My BFG AT's (315/70/17s) worked well but I think my 35/12.50/17s KM2's would have rubbed a lot.
Good luck
