Default 15" Wheels???

I have a 2013 2D with factory 17' aluminum rims. I am thinking about going with 35x12.50 15 Kumho MT KL71 tires with 15x8 Black Rock aluminum rims. I have been told the rims I am looking at will fit with out a problem. Do you see any reason to go 16, 17, or larger?

A lot of people run 15" wheels. I've got a barely used set with 35's for sale right now as a matter of fact. The only rear issues are if you want to run certain aftermarket tie rods or big brake kits that need more clearance. A lot of 15" wheels clear the stock brake calipers just fine and the tires average $100 cheaper than some larger wheel sizes.

I love my 15's. American racing ar 23. I have the synergy tie rod and drag link. Only issue with the tie rod is when it rotates all the way up, but that only happened when I had it resting on a rock I was stuck on. I think you get less wheel/tire damage on 15's. I'll go back to a 17 when I move up to 37's or larger.

I like 15"-16" wheels, but traded in mine for 17"s. Hardly any 37" inch tire choices for 16s. Also i didn't want to deal with clearance problems when upgrading Tie rod ends, or brakes w/ a 15" wheel.

Love the 15's! IMO looks the way an offroad wheel/ tire setup should look! To each their own tho

I went with 16" because I didn't do my research on here first wish I had went went 15" most tire places say 15" will not work. Tire price is the main reasin for me but I have no plans of other suspension or brake upgrades. But 16" still saved me $150 per wheel and tire combo over 17".

I'm happy with my 15s. No problems with clearance for me.
