interesting. It still seems that the majority of people went with the 15s with no problems.

Ok i kn ow i said i dont care about back spacing. But looking at the pictures, it seems more and more like a back spacing issue. It doesn't look like a width issue like i thought it would be.

If you run 1.5" spacers would it fix the problem??

But I'm not a big fan of spacers, and besides, worse case scenario is that you get a dremel or a grinder out and go to town on the caliper brakcets. It's really not that big of a deal.
I have Spidertrax 1.5" spacers on, with 15" Cragar Soft 8s, and the wheels stick out past my (aftermarket) fenders about 1/3" - not a big deal. I would expect that this same set up, with stock flares, would stick out closer to 1" past the flares. Again, not a big deal, unless your local LE is really strict on modified vehicles.

M/T classic II 15x8's p/n 358431 in 4WD Hardware mag. fit my '08 rubicon with no grinding or spacers. I am not a fan of grinding away brake caliper's and mounts to make a wheel fit. There are some that will fit and others don't, it seems to be brand specific.
