I have the leveling kit, and love it. I think the ride actually got better!

I have the Teraflex leveling kit on my 2011 JKU Sahara. Stock rims/tires (18 inch) I did not notice any difference in the stock ride, which is what I wanted. Much better vehicle height. I would not just do the front. If you do, your Jeep will look like it is taking a dump. I also put on a post on another forum titled "Teraflex headlight aiming kit" because I too was much happier with the stock lights once the leveling kit was installed.

I would like to add a leveling kit also but I went to the local 4x4 shop and they said it would be $500 installed plus they would need to do an alignment! If I could figure out how to do this on my own do I still need to take it in for an alignment? I'm just running stock Moabs with 255's. And Spidertrax too.

You van do the install on your own as well as the alignment. Check Project-JK.com for an alignment write-up and other stuff.

Wow. First off...find a new 4x4 shop. Secondly, a "how-to" write-up is right here: (except you don't have to worry about the bump stops.)

I've had the leveling kit for awhile with no issues. Like the looks of it. However, I'm looking to replace the stock shocks, do I need a different length due to the added height?

Get some for for 0-2" of lift. Old Man Emu makes some.

This is probaly a scrub question, but do you have to get new shocks if you get this leveling kit?
