Default 1st time noob in need of help with leveling kit

hello jk-forum, i'm a noob with some questions about the Teraflex Leveling Kit that adds 2" to the front and 1" to the rear. as i mentioned i'm very new to all this and only 16 years old so bare with me. i have a 08' unlimited sahara 4dr that's all stock. if i were to add this leveling kit, can i still run my stock tires/rims? is there anything else i need to purchase other then this kit to level my wrangler? all i was wanting is a slight lift because IMO wranglers should of come stock with a leveling lift. how would the ride be with this lift? does that make a difference on the ride? please shoot some advice at me or anything i need to know about lifts. -thanks

Welcome to this crazy, expansive and fun world.

I'm actually also interested in this kit and wondering as well how will it change the ride.

anytime you change the suspension it's going to be different. the higher you go the rougher the ride gets.

but adding the leveling kit does exactly that, levels the jeep, and you don't need anything else to go with it.

As a fellow owner of the Leveling Kit - nope, you don't need anything else, and yes, you can use your stock wheels and tires. The install is SUPER easy as well, if you have a few simple garage tools. Check out this write-up on how to install a very similar lift, and you'll be set.

And no, it doesn't really change your ride too terribly much. You just sit slightly up more. Good luck!

welcome! you will be fine running everything else stock. from a ride perspective iv heard that spacers can firm up the ride slightly. its my opinion that the difference will be negligible. its a good kit for what you are wanting to do.

okay that was a worry i had with having everything stock. maybe down the road i'll end up gettting new tires but for now its good to hear that it will work out with stock.

I'm also considering this levelling kit....but I'm wondering if it is possible to simply add a 1" spacer on the front, and don't do anything else?

Would new sway bar disconnects be required if the 1" front spacer was the only modification?

Thanks in advance!

there would be no issue with adding and inch up front. this will get rid of the rake. the leveling kit just gives the jeep a more aggressive higher stance as well as making it sit level. im not sure about the sb disconnects
