Another DIY, grill insert. I have one of the easiest methods ever.
Just installed the rc 1.5" wheel spacers
Looks better even with the 225's
Again, it should look like this from the factory.
Also installed the rc spare tire spacer bracket.
I called rc and told them I wasn't thrilled that I had to "press" my own wheel studs using my wheel and lugs, and that instead of making a universal product that they should man up and press the lugs at the factory and just make two diff products. One for jk bolt patterns and one for older jeeps. They prob just ignored me so I'll follow up w someone there w authority.
Installs were a cinch.
I did them by myself in about 1.25 hours with ample beer breaks.
Used an axe handle to keep the front from spinning while I torqued it down.
While I was installing I found a buyer for my five 225's via Craigslist, so there sold as soon as I get them off the jeep. Yeah buddy!
Now I'm officially ready for the big tires tomorrow morning!!!!

i am running a set of 315/70r17 on my stock wheels with the RC 2.75" lift and 1.5" wheel spacers. I've got a AEM Brute Force CAI, and thats about all performance wise. Also running a set of Trucklite LED headlights, waiting to do the Rigid Industries Dully lights in the Fogs, and I am about to swap my 3.73's for a set of 5.13's. Good luck with your builds and keep scanning through the site, plenty of cool stuff to do. Again welcome to the club.
