Only thing is, theyre 10 ply.
It's a good price only bc I talked him down $700.
I only need 5 but having another spare wouldn't hurt anything.
Any thoughts?
Ive got those tires in 17" and they've been good to me.

How many miles have you gotten out of yours so far?
Are yours 10 ply?
What psi do you run them at on paved roads?
Thx tommy

So now that I have a lift and tires I'm in the market for steps and a rear tire carrier.
I need to slow down, I've only had my jku for a couple of weeks...

Steps?!? If you plan on wheeling it (as the lift and tires indicate) i recommend sliders that can function as 'steps' for you. You will want protection from the rocks/trees/prius' etc that you roll over.

Sliders w steps
Yes that's what I meant
I want something that bolts to the frame to keep shit off the rockers
Steps aren't for me, but the women in my life (toddler and girlfriend and mom and niece etc)

Default Newbie here too...

I'm a newbie jeep owner as well...bought a white 2102 JKU Sport-S with dual tops on August 11th. My Brother has had jeeps for years. When I was younger (and very broke) he would let me drive his CJ5 anytime I wanted (I just had to put gas in and wash it when i was done). So I've been around Jeeps alot and always wanted one. This one acutally happened because my Wife got a wild hair and wanted one for her DD so we ran out and bought one before she changed her mind. Now I'm adding & changing stuff as if it were all mine. Its addicting...kinda like this site (great site BTW).

I have to say I'm pretty envious at the rate that you are adding your mods...I don't feel like I'm showing my (wifes) jeep much love. I've done all small things so far but a lift and tires are not too far off. Maybe next week.

I just realized after looking through your thread that I haven't taken a single picture of the jeep or any of the small mods...what kind of parent am I? Keep building and keep posting. Everything you've done so far looks great. BTW...I'm steeling your idea about for the DeeZee box in back.

Woody,
Steal away
That's why I've made my build thread
You should def snap a photo every now and them w ur phone
I'm only able to mod at this rate bc I don't have a wife to clear "major" purchases with.
I just have to justify them with myself which is pretty damn easy!

Question...what mirrors are those in your original post & do you like them? (i may be stealing again). I've been trying to find some mirrors for the doors off times and those look pretty cool.

I got them from a national auto parts chain.
I'll get the details when I get home and post them tomorrow sometime.
They're "universal" but fit like they're made for jk's. Cheap too... Like $15 a piece.
I bought 4 so I had spares later (incase they stop making them)
