Default Which 2.5" TeraFlex Kit?

I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on my JK lift but have a few pre-ordering questions. I have a 2K8 Rubi Unlimited and am looking to both level the rake and gain enough room for 35" tires. To that end I believe the 2.5" TeraFlex lift kits are going to be my best choice based on what I've read on JK-Forum and from talking to local owners.

I'm not a very active off roader. As a matter of fact, I've yet to wheel my JK at all other than some fire roads. The vehicle is expected to stay on the road about 90-95% of the time and is used as my daily driver.

I see that there are 3 diffrent 2.5" JK lifts from TeraFlex. The 2.5" Budget Boost (coil spacers, shock extenders), the 2.5" Coil Boost (new coils, shock extenders), and the 2.5" Replacement (new coils, new shocks).

My instincts tell me to get the total replacement kit as I'm going to regret not doing it if I get into serious wheeling, but my wallet says to go cheap with the budget boost. Since I have the Rubi, I already have electronic sway bar disconnects so that shouldn't be an issue. I'm looking for some input here. My major concerns are these:

1.) Ride quality - Looking for same or better than factory.
2.) Completeness of kit - I'd like to have to buy as few extra/missing parts as possible.
3.) Tire clearance

Can you give me some insight on the diffrences between the lifts? Or should I look at another company even? What extra parts am I going to want/need other than spacers? Steering stabalizer? Track adjuster?

The general rule seems to be, get coils because most people replace spacers with coils in the long run. If you have a rubicon get shock extenders, if you have a X, get shocks.

I voted coils with shock extensions. Your Rubi shocks are good enough for a daily driver and you will like the ride and improved stance with the new coils. If you do the BB you may end up wanting the coils down the road ... just sharing my personal experience and trying to save you from doing it twice

Being the ever budget conscience person I am (read CHEAP), I went with the coil kit with shock extensions. If your Jeep is low mileage, why replace good shocks?

I have an X, and opted for the coils + shocks. Just installed it last friday, but so far am very pleased with my decision. I'd recommend the coils for sure, and shocks too if you're looking to replace the ones you have now.

90-95% on-road driving? Go with the Budget Boost and save the rest for your next set of tires. Sure you'll regret it if you get into seriously wheeling, but it doesn't sound like you're going to.

I have to agree here...unless you plan to do some really serious off-roading, why spend the extra $$$$

If the leveled out rake and taller appearance is your main goal (along with retaining factory ride quality), just get the coil kit with shock extensions. This is what I have and I have done some light to moderate off-roading with no problems (as I KNOCK ON WOOD). I can't tell any difference in the ride quality (less the 33" tires I put on).
