i just got my jk lifted and new tires at first i had for loaners Dunlop Radial Mud Rover 315/70/17 with 3.73 and well can't say i was to happy with my jk, the tire where noisy and MPG drop to 9-10. I just got MY tire two day ago the Goodyear duratrac 315/70/17 and the changed was big noise when down, comfort and mpg when up to 13-14.5 "city/small high driving". driving with 3.73 and 35s is not bad not great but i can live with it

I went from 3.73 to 5.13's on a 2011 running a 4" lift and KM2's. My MPG has dipped to about under 11MPG for city and about 13" for highway.
And to be honest, I don't even notice the performance gain.
Don't know of something is up with my setup, but I've lost MPG and performance hasn't changed much.
I went with the best shop in town for install, so I'm not sure what's up.
I'm hoping the Superchip will fix both my MPG issue and add a little more power when it's released.
And to be honest, I don't even notice the performance gain.

How many people here are actually running 3.73 gears and 35" tires?
I'm about to buy 35" KM2's and want to know how long I can get by with stock gears: not at all, 3 months, 6 months?
When my jeep goes into the shop I want to take care of a few things at once (gears, dif covers, c gussets, lca skids, axel sleeve). I'll need about 3 months to save.
In that time I will not be offroad, i'll be driving a max of 60 mph on super flat highways to and from work (30 miles a day).
