I currently have 33" and wish I had bought 35" tires. You should buy 35" tires, cause you won't regret it. Don't make the same mistake that several of us have made buying 33" tires.

Agreed. I went from 33's to 35's. never should have wasted the money on the 33's if you wheel. IMO.

Just go with 37s. Most people who go 35s want 37s. Just my opinion

I am in the same place as the OP.
My 4 door JK is 2 weeks old. I have a Rock Hard full width bumper in route, and already have my winch and a 2.5 spring lift. I also picked up a set of 3/4 inch coil spacers to offset the weight of the bumper/winch.
I want to run the 15 inch TKO rims, and keep killing myself on which size tire to run. I did order mine with the max tow package, so I have the 3.71 gears and auto. I have no plans to regear, and do have a procal.
Mostly a DD,with light offroad (like no plans to disconnect the swaybars).
So, 35s,or 33s for mine? And, am I overthinking the 3/4 inch spacer for the bumper and winch offset? It is a Rough Country lift with the rear trac bar offset.

it depends on your budget and needs on and off road. if you are a serious offroader. have a lift, and some cash. buy 35's. if youre like me, and drive your jeep to school and work and only take a few trips into the mud, and have no lift, 33's all day. they will tell you at the tire shop that it wont fit but it does. 33x12.5r17 dick cepek mud country on stock wheel with 1.5 inch rugged ridge wheel spacers. they will also say the spacers are a bad idea, which they are not, they have improved my stability, taking turns with much less body roll. also 35's will have a big impact on gas mileage. NO scrub at full turning lock, no scrub at full flex. i also have the rugged ridge flat flares, they make a world of difference.

I too am in the "bought 33's and wish I would have gone 35" camp. As has been mentioned, if you're even considering a 35" just do it.

Turn off your overdrive. If it still sucks, then 5.13 will only make it worse, unless you want to run 3000+ rpm.
