I have been thinking about doing this when I lock my rear 44. Essentially, you just got the gears, lockers, and axle shafts for a Rubi D44? Did you have to replace the carriers or anything else? I figure if I'm going to be replacing most of this stuff anyway, I just as well do it right.

I read somewhere that Superior had not released their 35spline axles yet and although some shops were taking orders, no one was shipping.
Didn't confirm for myself, but maybe I should have.
I've been waiting to order!!

yup. so far as i know, this can only be done on a non-rubicon d44 rear end.

The internal clearance of the pumpkin in the rubicons d44 do not permitted the installation.
Remember the rubi d 44 have a sensor and actuator for the elocker
according to arb & ore is not possible

I imagine when/if the Rubi lockers start failing, they will be available for the Rubi with and ARB replacement locker.

If you were to remove the locker/sensor/actuator would you not have the same thing as an X/Sierra?
