the BFG AT's are a good choice, but i think that you mine as well go with the KM2's. they look so much better and are still a great daily driver tire.

 

I just got Duratracs also and love them. They ran pretty nice on the balancer which is something i don't typically find in a Goodyear. Minimal road noise yet quite aggressive for a DD tire. 18/32 tread with a closed interior so they should last a while with proper rotations. I think they are a bit more aggressive than they appear in online photos/goodyear catalog. You can see the tread fairly well here.

 

I have the BFG ATs on my wifes FJ and they work great on road and can hold its own off road.

 

I'm gonna start shopping for prices. I think I've decided it's either going to be the Pro Comp XtremeATs or the BFG's w/ my bias currently running to the Pro Comps.

Pro Comps look agressive, have a 40,000 mile warrenty, have been rated great, and I've not heard many bad things about them.

 

You have my vote for them BFG AT's. As you already know, they're extremely well behaved on road and can definetly hold their weight off road

 

You can't go wrong with either one.

 

Well if the stock Sahara BFG AT tires are any help I am at 42k now on those tires and still have good treads still meat on them. I am going with 33" BFG KM2 MT soon. I like the look and will be my first MT tires although I dont off road much I do want to get outdoors more and like to be prepared.

 

BFG A/T dominate the market for a reason. That said, due to my personal experience I have to recommend the Bridgestone Dueler A/T REVO too. The BFG's are great tires but there have been numerous times in both mud and hardpack snow/ice where I have kept traction and my friend with BFG's either slides off the road or cant make it outa the mud (alot has to do with the drive but still...). The Revo's have more siping and I think thats why. The BFG is superb in dry conditions, I've seen the sidewall take nasty hits and remain undamaged. If your gonna be in snow or wet weather I would check out the Bridgestones, if not go with BFG. Run a google on the dueler revo and you'll see how highly their rated.

 

I am running these and for daily use they are perfect. Quiet at all speeds and have a decent ride.
