35's, 3:21's and an auto
You pulled up a 4 year old thread. They are all talking about driveability with the 3.8 engine, not your more powerful 3.6...
Not true ~ I have a 2012 Sahara with the 3.6 Auto and 3.21. Metal Cloak Lift, GY Dura tracs which are actually 34". Mounted is 33.75 which is what I programmed. I purchased a Flash Paq from Superchips which allows you to tune based on different octane levels. I started out with the 89 performance tune and now 93. I see a lot of folks talk negative about 3.21 and 35" without knowing all the options. I can tell you with 100% certainty it works and shifts fine. I cruise at 75 at 2200rpms. If you need more info PM and I can share my experience. Just ENSURE you update your tuner via SupAttachment 600653Attachment 600654Attachment 600655erchips web site and by doing so, it will allow you to register and ensure you have specific year updates.
Now this doesn't mean I don't plan to re-gear, it just makes it more enjoyable to ride while I save up for my next series of mods. Which are dana 30 re-informant and re-gear

I just added the 315/70r/17 Duratracs to my 3.21 automatic 2012 (3.6L) with every intention to re-gear. It's been 3 days now and I haven't noticed anything different with acceleration. When it comes to shifting, it actually feels better than it did with my 285 DuraTracs. I drove 5 hours yesterday on the interstate and sat between 2,000 and 2,400 RPM's almost the whole way at 70/75 mph. It did jump up to 3,500 on some steeper hills.
So this is possible? I'm the second owner of this Jeep, and I noticed on my VIN log that a towing package was added after it was initially purchased. I began to think that maybe he re-geared, but after having read the last post, maybe 3.21 and 315's will work without re-gearing? Still getting 13 miles per gallon on the highway according to my dash reading.
