Default 35's to 37's

OK I know that this is a topic widely discussed, but I really want to post my plans and see what everyone thinks. As the title says I am planning on going to 37's once my 35's need changing. I don't do any hardcore rock crawling, just some trails and mudding every once and a while. I am already set to trim the pinch seam and get some Bushwhacker flat flares. My main questions right now is the added lift needed I will first tell you all what I am currently running,

Current lift: 3 inch BDS lift with fixed lower arms front and rear, uppers are stock
1/2 inch Teraflex coil spacers
JKC adjust track bars front and rear
Rear sway bar ends are stock
Front sway bar ends came with kit and are adjustable up to a 6 inch lift
4:88 gearing

What will be added: Teraflex 2 inch spacers, replacing the 1/2 inch ones, this should give me exactly 1 1/2 inches over my current set up.
Bilstien shocks
New extended brake lines
New drop pitman arm
Front Dana 30 sleeves and gussets

And now for my main question, can I get away with just getting adjustable upper arms, or do need all arms changed out?

I will change front drive shaft if and when it is needed.

So anyway those are my plans, what do you all think, have I overlooked something, can I get away with less work? Any of you comments and suggestions are appreciated, the work will more than likely be done in steps as I will not be able to float all this In one shot and my 35's are in great shape.

Cheers

If it were me, I'd see how they fit with the 3.5 inches of lift you already have and flat fenders. Might want to trim a little extra pinch seam, but other than that, i'd imagine you'd be good to go lift wise. Low COG Plently of people running 2.5" with a 1" spacer and 37's :thumbsup

I would get adjustable LCAs up front and uppers in the rear. The amount if lift you have will be fine especially if you're going to go with flat fenders.

I'd stay away from the dropped pitman arm and spend extra to do the drag link flip. Since you have the D30, I would also look at a truss for it.

Also just to be clear for anyone reading, I am running about 3 inch lift total. I got the spacers due to lost height when I added my bumpers.

Thanks to all that have responded thus far, I am always amazed at the knowledge that is available on this site. Looks like you are all against going to high with the additional 1.5 inches of lift. Thanks!!

Cheers

Nothing wrong with adding more lift, but just saying you could probably easily run them with what you have, flats, and a little trimming. :thumbsup

I'm running 37's with 4" lift and bushwacker fenders, trimmed rear seam, adjustable front uppers and everything runs great. Drag link flip is in the near future, might want to look into that. Just search it, plenty of articles on it.

Here's you a idea of 4" lift with 37" with flat fenders.

I agree. This is the best setup if your not going to do all 8 arms.
