Does it really make a big difference in the strength along that axis?

Maine Matt... you have a prorock 44 front right? You don't need to truss it.

Yes I went pro rock front and rear.

Just trying to have a better understanding of the other option as I meet a lot of Jeep folks in parking lots who love the 37's and want to know now to run them on their stock axles

When you flip the drag link you need to also raise the track bar mount so that both are in the same plane.

Teraflex does not offer a an axles side draglink flip kit. What looks like is you got the Teraflex draglink kit that has an attachment that drops lower on the frame side not the axle side. If you get a Synergy raised track bar mount for the axle; you will have to remove the Teraflex bracket on the frame side. The Teraflex is an inferior design in that it does not raise the roll center and puts more stress on the bracket. Designs that raise the trackbar on the axle side raises the roll center and properly puts the track bar and drag link close parallel with each other. I'm glad Synergy is helping you out.

We'll I finally have completed my upgrade from 35's to 37's, it was a long process and one in which a gained a lot of knowledge. Thanks to all those that have followed this thread and offered opinions, advise and knowledge along the way.

The final step was having some Synergy HD ball joints installed, this was done at the same time as the new wheels and tiers.

So my new Pro Comp Xtream MT2's 37X12.5R17 mounted on Rugged Ridge wheels with custom A-Tacs camo trim rings.
