Me to ..... and my a$$ is beginning to hurt so I'm ready to pull the trigger on the 37's.

Have been considering just selling mine (the JK) and buying another set up the way I want. Buy in is about 45-50k but by the time you add up all the parts it may not be a bad way to go.

I went with the KM2 35s(measuring 34.8 new), which after they wear a little,12000 miles, end up being 33's(measuring 33.25).

I say start out with the 37's, wear them down to 35's I believe that you will be happier.

I just was left looking for more when I got my 35's installed, but it was to late and the funds were out at the time to junk the 35's and buy new 37's.

I drive the hell out of this rig on the curvy mountain roads, and on the gravel roads. I average about 20,000 miles on a set of tires. I got the 34.8 from BFG website, I actually measure the 33.25 because i needed it to program with the superchips programmer.

I wish I could find some good off road tires that would last more than that.

The best I found are the Kumho road ventures that are on my F350, I get about 30,000 miles out of them, but they are not very good on rocks(mud, sand, and asphalt they are good).

Are any of us really ever fully finished with our jeep? (Camp, Maybe) For the rest of us, there is always more to do and never enough money to do it with.

I keep reading about how 37's are going to break the 44's, and really don't have the $$ for dana 60's. I already have an OME HD lift w/clayton adj arms and the 285's seem small.

I think the 35's will fit as everything is currently, but what about the 37's? What will need to be replaced? Just the springs & drive lines? Gears will have to replaced anyway so that is not a factor.

How are the road manners of 37's (probably will go with the Toyo's). What about brakes? I fully expect to get a hemi when the funds are available. Obviously I'm not hard core and I'm pretty gentle on stuff.

What do you all think? Thanks

Alright, just to update ..... I did pull the trigger on the 37's. Went with the Toyo's (they were delivered on Friday, F'n HUGE!), picked up 5 silver pintlers, drivelines, 5:13 gears, the new OME 4" springs & shocks. All except the tires from Northridge. Thanks David.

I wish Northridge could change the entry on my credit card slip. As far as my wife is concerned it would be better to say porn from a 900 number than another charge from Northridge .... Don't ask for pic's as the parts are in my warehouse at work, way under the home radar!

Bought a additional set of TMPS sensors so it should be a pretty smooth transition to the new rubber and hopefully an easier sell of the 285's.

Got one of the AEV rear bumpers on order, but who really knows how long that will take.

Dave says the OME 4" coils are 4 weeks out, so I guess in the mean time I can get the tires mounted and the gears done.

Since I have way to much time to think about this I called dynatrac for a quote today to replace the axle housings. Seems like 6k will do it for a "trail 60" and a pro rock 44 and then swapping my front parts into the new housing. Any thought to this approach?

That sound's like a lot of charges on 1 credit card statement! I think you are doing just fine with your wife. If I did that, I would be buying new bedroom furniture for bedrooms we even don't have ...

Lol, I've been so tempted on many occasions to have my jeep deliveries made at work.
