Quick question I have roughly 150 on my new gears I am seeing a huge increase in mpg nearly 100% is this normal or is something wrong that I'm missing I was not expecting anything even close to what I'm geting, 3:21 to 5:13 ....
Gears definitely make the JK drive like night and day. 6th gear can hold its on up hills no problem. I'm using 4.88's
I also noticed you can start out in 1st gear without giving it any gas...just let the clutch go and it doesn't stall, just goes!
My shop told me to change the front and rear diff. Fluids after 500 miles. Did all of you guys do this as well??

Well since the gear maker says to change it I would change it for that reason alone. I know that the aftermarket gear makers have a coating on the gears that wears off during the break-in period that will be in the oil. Also it is your chance to inspect everything to make sure things are good. Is your guy offering you any kind of warranty on the gears and the installation? If so he should want you to replace the oil just to increase the odds that things are OK.
I havent regeared yet but talked to a guy about it yesterday. I need to stop moding for a bit, so i will have the money to regear now
Well i finnally got the jeep off road with the new gearing.Totally awsome!!
What a differance,i,m running a manual 6-speed and i used to have to clutch the shit out it.
No more excessive clutching ,crawls like crazy now

I run about 2600 rpm at 75 on the freeway. The tranny doesn't search for gears and there's a alot more lower end power.
I've since been to Silver Lake Sand Dunes, the 5:13's are awesome offroad.

. Gears fix alot of issues.
