Default 5th Gear Grind

Posted a few months back about grinding from 4th to 5th gear above 2500rpm. 3"bd lift, 35" Procomp MT's and 5"13 gears. Any thoughs and or what have you done to correct?

your sychro's for 5th are bad.

Same issue here. I found if I hold the clutch in just a second longer before making the shift, I do not get the grind.

Hmmmm, sometimes I try to shift without the clutch, and 4-5 is usually not happy. I don't try that one anymore.

I get the grind from 4th -> 5th and I am not shifting that quickly, but if I slow it down (2-4 seconds) no problem. Took it and the dealership said they could reproduce the issue, but I can every time.

you running stock or with a lift? Sounds like the dealer doesn't want to do the warrenty work.

Stock, but I will have the issue resolved prior to the lift install so they that dont pull that out as a possible issue
