Stay away from the 6" lift. A proper 6" lift will run you close to $6k all in (drive shafts, drag link flip kit, quality long arm from someone like Teraflex), before talking about the need to replace at least the front axle. It does not give you more flex unless it has longer travel shocks.

The JK is really a mid-arm suspension. You could increase your flex by 50% or more and not need long arms. Shoot, I run 40" tires with 4" of lift and 16" travel struts (about double the travel of a stock JK). Before that, I ran 37s on 2.5" of lift with 14" of travel.

True that. I'm at just about 5" lift netted from my 4" Evo/ MC combo and I'm already needing to replace the front shaft.

At that height you'll need DL flip, minimum but likely tons of other stuff to address the huge angles created at that height.

Unless you get an aftermarket axle with extra built in caster that thing will be squirrely with so little caster.

With that much lift you should be looking at a caster corrected axle housing to get the caster back otherwise you likely be able to get factory caster back without driveline vibrations.

A 6" lift on a JK? Is this just to make your JK look pretty, or do you have a genuine need for that much lift?

Wise choice over the 6"lift. If you want more travel just look at shocks next

This will depend on your fenders and tire size mainly. Set it at full bump and thats the compressed length (-1" for safety) youd want and the longest extended possible youd have to make sure your coils dont unseat (or retain) them depending on the extended you can find. You can get as much travel as them evo coilovers typically if not more.
