About to pull the trigger on a budget lift and tires
That is my plan
I am stationed in NC and there isn't much need for a seriously built rig around here but I will be returning to Colorado springs in about 18 months and I plan on doing RK stretch kit minus the coilovers and 5.5 inch springs, as of now I am planning on running metal cloak 2.5" or 3.5" springs (shocks TBD) and 37's but that is ways down the road... about the time the 35's I just ordered will need to be replaced.

Honestly id try and get a kit that you can use the springs off or something to save costs down the road. Control arms will do no good if you stretch it so no point in getting them. Bumpstops can usually be adjusted by adding washers and all that. Spring retainers are good depending on the extended length shock you run. Metal cloaks coils you probably wont need them....Honestly id get just shocks and coils if you want travel and lift. Id get the ones you want they should last awhile and will work when/if you stretch it also.
All good points which is why I am only buying the parts listed in my original post very minimal cost and I am not buying anything that cant be used when I stretch it
Cool youtube channel BTW

not sure how the rk stretch kit works, but im sure you have to cut the fenders and body. Also not sure how they move the trackbars and the front shocks and coil tower.
also while your doing the bumper, you may want to cut about an inch or 2 off the front frame where the bumper sits. I regret not doing it on mine and now when i do do it, it will take alot longer.
I agree on not stretching it yet though, on 35s and being at about 101 wheel base I drag the belly on a ton more, I wish i would have waited until at least 37s.
all in all i think you got a good start and a good plan. I wish i would have planned mine out a lot more than i did. I was always bored and anxious doing stuff and wasted lots on parts in the long run....
They don't stretch the front end just the rear
I didn't plan my last jk at all just bought what I wanted based on impulse and replaced it later with something else... Wasted so much money

damn that blows... i woulda thought they did both. i hear ya on the redoing and wasting money lol.
What is the benefit of stretching both the front and rear? For someone like me on a budget it seems like only stretching the rear keeps the cost down
especially if the total desired length is only 104"
