ABS, ESP,BAS, and TCS lights
hey im dave im new here, this is my second jeep wrangler ive owned, i have an 07 wrangler X, i put on a ruff country 2" suspension lift on there, about 3 months ago, and didnt have any prob, then 2 nights ago leaving the train station my ABS, ESP,BAS, and TCS lights all come on. they have come on before and i read in the manual how to get the m to go away and i tried it and they stayed on. anyone else have this prob when they put a lift on to theres?
i went to the dealer and he was like did u have suspension work done i was like yeah he was like well u streched out the brake lines and the abs wires and theres rubbing with the left rear tire on the sway bar, so he said sesne that was done i went against my warrnty and its going to cost 106 an hour to look at it. i said to just clear the codes and of course they didnt. so i went and looked while it was still there and theres no rubbing, and i havnt gone offroading to where my jeeps been flexed to where my brake lines are pulled tight like that, how do u get the lights to go off? im going to check the abs sensors to make sure there not dirty other than that is there something u do to the computer or what to get the lights to go away?
another thing is i hate all the damn shit the new jeeps have theres too many sensor's on there.
thanks guys dave

thats what i thought y all of a sudden would the lights come on ya know, but the esp,bas light comes on i guess b/c the angle of the steering is off? i had an alignment done at sears 2 sat. ago and they messed up the front bar that u tighten to align it, i mean indents from the pipe wrenches they used and they heated up the bar with a torch i mean my jeep has not even seen a winter so i don't know if sears screwed somethin up or what.
Lookup on this web site (http://www.project-jk.com/) on how to have your cluster display the codes. Then use the PDF and look up the code. Then post back.
Since the computer is turning on the dash lights, no sense in not using what it can tell you to fix it.

My 2007 Unlimited is doing the same thing, except it is bone-stock...no big tires, no lift, just a Volant CAI, and I drove up a small mound of dirt one day at work just goofing around. I think my fuel tank skid plate may have a rub mark where I high-centered it on the mound. It gets really aggravating listening to the Jeep dinging at me every so often and the cluster lighting up like a Christmas tree, and that constant knocking noise coming from my B-pillar where the seat belt mounts. Other than that, fine vehicle, no leaks.

have a 07 Sahara 2dr, I put a 3.5" skyjacker cheapo lift on it, guy did a poor job on install to say the least. About 3 miles out ESP/BAS lights came on, I corrected the steering wheele made it strait with the tires (witch i got from another thread) that turned the lights off. Driving across the desert between LA and Vegas lights came on again. Pulled into gas station and did a little tinkering, got frustrated with that and peeled out of gas station and lights went off. I narrowed it down to shutting the vehicle off then turning it on and making a half circle. I have used that technique a few times with success. Its a short term fix but has been working for me. Its better then driving with the lights on and God only knows what going on in that computer....
