A little extra protection, and just looks better.

Plus one more reason: if you're using the Ace rail as a step, this could keep your foot from sliding too far forward or maybe rubbing the paint.

I got my Rubi rails for $125, great deal at that price. The place that installed my lift sells them for $120 with the hardware (wish I had known). Check with your local shop, they might have some lying around.

I was undecided between these two also. I went with the Ace. They are a good step, but they also are cheaper, can take a beating, and AMERICAN MADE!!

Just got the ace sliders in this afternoon and had to install them right away. Definitely happy so far.
