Has anyone drilled or cut holes in the lower half of the stock airbox and then do a dyno run. I would not be surprised if you could get close to the gains of a CAI.

Swiss Cheese airbox was common on a Ford Explorer forum I went to back in the day.
Made it whistle like a mofo.

Default Installed AFE filter today.

Installed an AEF filter today on my 2dr Rubicon. Sound is a huge improvement over stock. Its also very quiet when at idle and has a nice throaty sound in the mid rpm's.

I have had great experience with Volant in the past. I noticed Quadratec is offering it for 3 bills (Quadratec Part No: 17013.403). Should be a nice kit, but I want to see some photos first
