I'd leave it as is and enjoy it. No worn parts to worry about, no alignment issues, no potential warranty issues, and it rides as nice as it ever will right now. You're one of the people on the forum whose Jeep I envy. Pop the top and drive it.

if you are not wheeling it just put $$ into fenders, wheel spacers and tires.

I installed the 2.5 AEV then drove it a couple of days before i installed the geo brackets, the geo brackets made a difference not a huge difference but enough to keep em installed and by the way I did a before and after measure and it is still just shy of 3" say 2 7/8 I then installed 285/75/17 Nitto MTs on stock rims with spider trax 1.5 and love them they measure 33.70 on the jeep now it is gear time thinking 4.88s.....but I am driving to Colorado/Moab this July and im thinking 2900 rpm at 70 or should i go with 4.56s I drive a 6 speed leaning towards 4.88s as it is not a daily driver simply a toy

I'm curious what you'd recommend without a lift - I don't think I can really do bigger tires with just spacers without at least a small lift?

I have put this exact lift on my two door and my lady's four door both Rubicons. I am running 285/70/17 and she is running 315/70/17 Duratracs. We both love how our jeeps ride and handle. They are both daily drivers and we do wheel them (Moab, Sedona, Ouray, Rubicon, Pismo Beach etc.) I would highly recommend this to any one not trying to build a hardcore off-road vehicle. Just do it !!!!!

Shit with flats and wheel spacers you can run 35's on your stock wheels all day long.

Hey Bud, i researched high and low before committing to a lift and after all was said and done, the most ecconomical for me as my DD was a 2.5. Below you will find 3yrs of research tailored to my personal taste, hope this helps...
Lift:
AEV 2.5 Dualsport XT
AEV Procal
Synergy Rear Swaybar links
Teraflex front adj trackbar
Rancho control arm drop brackets
Bilstein Steering Stabilizer

*Went with the Rancho drop brackets since they are one piece, heard the AEV you have to assemble (Structual integrity issue).

Other mods:
Rugged Ridge F/R steel braided brake lines
Ballistic Fabrication Diff Covers
Rock Slide Engineering Front stubby, full rear
Teraflex tailgate hinge and tire carrier
Mickey Thompson baja MTZ, 315/70/17
Black Rhino Sidewinders 17"
A pillar rigid duallys
JW Speaker 8700's
Rockridge LED tail light conversion kit
RF sound system

Oh and a Grade 8 bolt kit! You should get this regardless of what you go with.

I have this same setup your looking at on my 2014. Just installed, then took it to Moab for EJS, love it, drives great and ran the trails awesome! Only difference is I went with AEV Pintlers instead of stock wheels.

AEV 2.5"
AEV Black Pintlers
GY Duratrac 315/17's
