I used the black with my argent

 

It's been a while, but I believe I ended up going with a Dupli-color called Storm Gray. It is a bit darker than the argent wheel. But I liked it better than the Jeep/Mopar Mineral Gray AEV suggests it for wheel touch up. For me it was too light compared to the AEV argent.

 

You don't have to paint black ones, they sell argent on their site, I bought a set for mine.

Good to know AEV now has all three colors. When I did mine 3 years ago the silver were the only option.

Here's mine.... I got tired of the yellow stickers falling off so after 2 sets of those I just painted the black molded caps I got from Quadratec a few years ago (before AEV offer argent caps) to match the Argent Pintlers. The paint is Dupli-Color Granite and some clear coat on top.

 

Reviving an older thread, see my custom painted AEV caps. I just couldn't stand the originals any longer...... What do you think?

 

I was going to tell the op, send me his new ones and I can paint them any color he wants...just like yours with red instead of yellow etc.
