aev cornerguards?? holes?

interesting then that they are pictured without holes in this quadratec page: http://www.quadratec.com/products/12525_401_07.htm
I guess I could just plug the hole up with the plug that is already there on the australian model. would have just been nice to have no hole at all.

I know
I really dont see what the big deal would be to run a few without the holes. I came from a manufacturing background and NOT doing something to a part actully does make it cheaper to make. Whooda thunk it? And they could charge the same price with or without holes, and i bet no one would complain.
Oh well, someone else will come out with some sooner or later. Their loss.
I got an answer from AEV today and they said use plastic plugs for the holes.. so I'll wait till somebody offers them without.. I like the idea of welding them closed.. but this is thin metal and will deform with the heat of a mig. Also.. at $299 I dont want to have to butcher them up..
If they were 1/2 that money I could see screwing with them.. but.. for 3bills I can find other stuff to spend my money on until they(or somebody else) make them the right way.
