I have the aev and very happy with them. before i did the install i picked up a extra bolt from Chrysler. I do like the three positions on the brackets.
even though the rancho brackets seem to be built stronger, wouldn't the aev still seem to be the better choice? Better flexibility with lift height and pre drilled for 2.5, 3.5, and 4.5. Is the rancho specifically set for 4" but can work with 2.5-4"?
I'm at 3.5 using Rancho brackets and my pinion angle is 2* which should have caster at 4*
I've read a few post with 2.5" lifts and caster was 4.5-5*

We tested this bracket on various systems in that height range and found no real difference in driving. What matters is the ending caster.
