I have a 11 auto with 33's. The procal helped but the only real fix was the 488 gears I put in. Procal had no real increase in mpg and a modest increase in power. 488s = + 3mpg and big increase in power

The AEV ProCal isn't a performance additive programmer. It has settings for correcting behavior with tire/gear changes and utility (TPMS, one touch lane change, high idle for winching, etc). Used to properly set those things it helps the computer understand and will help with shitft points. I don't think power or mpg gains are part of the conversation regarding the AEV ProCal except to consider the modest gains possible by not having a confused computer.

X2. What people need to realize is the ProCal is a TUNER. A Superchips, Diablo, etc. is a PROGRAMMER. 2 totally different products. Yea, similiar features, but different outcome in regards to power gain, MPG, etc.

I got the Procal with my 4.5 AEV SC Kit and it was actually one of the main reasons I got this kit...that and the quality of the parts but thats besides the point ha..... I run 35's now and the Speedo calibration is spot on. Checked speed on GPS and on the YOUR SPEED that police set out around here. Be sure when you measure the tires that you measure from the ground to top part of tread. Though I run 35's my measurement comes out to 34.25 or 34.5 (I have found this be common when I researched the Procal that the actual tire size will be less than the actual number). I also used the Turn Signal One Touch feature on it and love. I calibrated my gear ratio to 5.13 at 1st and was to low for me and my daily driving needs so I recaled to 4.88 and think I found a winner with that.

Huh? So, you didn't set the ProCal to the ACTUAL gear ratio you are running? You just "picked" what you'd wanna run at? Am I missing something?

Dude, I found out 2 nights ago my front DS blew! So yea, out of my gears, rear bumper & tire carrier, 37's, gussets, arb covers, coast 1310, and labor this month alone.... I'm about to pull my hair out!

On the other hand, I'm gonna have a nice setup.... GIT-R-DONE

You do realize that the computer is usually 90% wrong with calculations. Not taking anything away from ya bud, so calm your horses.... just saying that maybe you should manually calculate your MPG's based on how many gallons you put in your tank and see what the outcome is...

Ha I am calm My whole gas point was based off right after I had got it lifted and put the 35's on it, I commute an hour to class on Mon/Wed with lots of hills and it is highway and interstate driving. When I got halfway my AVG ECO was going down the entire time so i Procal the gear ratio thing and essentially was getting the same mileage I was getting before I lifted it. I just filled up before class today so I'll give it a look and see how this tank does and do some calculations on the gas mileage.
