Wonder if they are going to charge 2X what everyone else does because they provide OEM like performance...

I'm not impressed by the AEV lifts. Cam bolts are a cop out. Plain and simple. If a lift is designed correctly, and is infinitely adjustable, it should not even need a steering stabilizer. The stock one is sufficient. Running without one is even possible if the lift is dialed in.

BTW, I'd put my rockkrawler arms up against the clayton's for strength. Solid steel. Not tube.

Lol I think the jk would fall apart before either arm would bend.

I dont see a reason to compare neither is going to bend.

You won't bend a set of Fulltractions either, we have ran the same arms on the comp rig for years, many roll overs with alot of them landing on the arms, and still are straight.

I am still on the fence about the cam bolt, but plan on trying to use it first before getting adjustable arms (yes I know about the issue of having to weld up the holes).

I wish AEV was not always back ordered on EVERYTHING... But IMO, they have the best desgined stuff, so I conitnue to wait.
I dont believe its because of the Online "BS". We're they not saying before you do need adjustable control arms if you installing after market shafts?

I do believe they make very good lifts etc. the cams are a cheap way to adjust the suspension without the adding the cost of new adjustable control arms.

Yeah I don't think there is a chance of bending most aftermarket arms..

As a generallization, it could be the best product available, but if the buyer wants something else, the offered product will be a financial failure. With todays marketing, products do not need to be the best to be the best selling.

Manufacturers make a lot of things that will make them money even though it does not make something "better" for the average consumer. Think about the Sahara or some of the other shiney accessories that Mopar offers. Few on this website would think these products make the jeep better, but it is what many owners will buy.

I am not saying there is no need for adj control arms. But not everyone buying them to go with the AEV lift needs them.
Well said. It's all about staying competitive. If the customer wants CAs, they're going to start making them if they want to stay on top. It's obvious that AEV is a company that does their homework, and I can easily see them agreeing to play along if it means they're going to sell more kits.

I got the rough country 4" lift with front lower x-flex control arms for $650. I am loving it.

nth degree only comes with cam bolts and a fixed track bar. I would skip anything with fixed length control arms or track bars cause if you are going to pay extra for those things you might as well get them adjustable.
