Yes I got it. The "delete kit" turned out to be just a bracket to use on the right side instead of the bumper in place of the tire carrier bracket. It still leaves the hole for the carrier open, so I'm looking for some type of cap plug to fill the hole.

Also, be aware of how big your tire is. I have 275/70/18 Duratracs and it just slides on to the bumper right as I close the tailgate. Any larger tire and I wouldn't be able to shut it.

 

So I guess I would need the tire carrier to insure it all fits.
