version 2 uses a factory drag link tre and it is much bigger than the tie rod tre.

I can see reason for changing if it made all 4 the same, just have to carry one spare, but still greaseable is so much better as long as you grease regularly of course. Eddie do you know if their drag link is also changed?

According to their website though it still says you need moog tie rod ends
honestly, i'm not sure why they made the change other than the fact that they wanted to beef things up even more than the already were. for whatever it's worth, i'm not too concerned with these mopar tre's going bad or anything and actually like the fact that they are so big and beefy for just the tie rod. also, both tre's have the same thread direction. being that the bar is bent on both ends, having a left and right hand thread wouldn't help with adjustments.

i don't know, i'm starting to think that i may have gotten the very first one like this.

So WOL , what SS setup are you using? I already have the RK drag link and my RK tie rod is on the way and i wanna figure out the u-bolt situation.. I dont think the factory u-bolts are big enough with the new drag link..

I didn't see the Off Road Only kit mentioned yet. It looks pretty strong, is straight, and also has brackets to flip it so that you get more clearance.

Mind if i ask why you would need a more stout tie rod if you running a stock set up?
