Viairs web site shows a max. ambient air temp of 158 degress so putting the comp. between the rad. and engine. I will be doing a test this weekend to see what the air temp is between the rad. and engine. going on a run sunday so it will be the perfect time test it. I will post what i find.

You need to replace those wire nuts with some good weather tight but connectors. Wire nuts are not designed for low voltage high amp draw(i.e. 12v d/c). They are designed for high voltage low amp draw (i.e. 110v a/c). you will end up with corosion in those pretty quick.
