Default Air Pressure with 35's

I go pick up my 35's Tuesday they are 8ply. How much air pressure do most of you run to get even wear? I am running 16x8 wheels. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Look up the chalk test, this will let you know your ideal psi for even wear.

Usually 28-34 psi is the common range.

I usually run 28-29 in mine. Any lower and they feel 'mushy', higher and the ride gets too stiff for my liking.

Chalk test them, and then experiment with a few psi's to see where you like it best.

Worked around oe tires a long time never heard of a chalk test before. I will research it and see what I come up with. I was guessing 25 to 30 to keep the centers fron wearing.

Chalk test will give you a close estimate but is not always going to be accurate. Running a 12.5 tire on a 8" or less wheel will cause the tires to balloon. Less pressure will be needed to achieve a good contact patch. Just remember... You don't want 100% treads touching. 1/4 or 1/2 on each side is ok.
if your tires are feathered or worn because of a alignment issue or whatever, the chalk test won't work.

I chalk tested mine, and I fill them to 29, and re-fill them if/when they hit 27.

I run 35 nitto grapplers with Spyder bead locks. I typically keep them at 29psi. Unless off road, then ill drop them to about 5.
