I had forgotten that SC locks into your VIN#. Hence, I guess when it gathers the VIN# SC knows your gear ratio. Checked under the Advanced Tunnig and sure enough the ratio was correct!

well one of my buddy have the superchips on his jk stock and it is a big differents between his and my jeep, both are sport unlimited "auto" the many reason why you don't feel. but the many it's your tires and gears, real 33s "33x12.5" are aroud 55-62 pounds a tire, and your stock "255/75/17" are or 33 pounds so there is your different if you gear you will feel it.

Did you use a gps to verify the speedo is correct? If not make sure you do because getting it all dialed in has a lot to do with your shifting points. Plus you can purchase another option for, from what I gather, even better tranny performance. I haven't tried anything other than the 87 octane and I haven't updated since I bought it a long long time ago. So far the 87 performance has done me extremely well. But I did remove the "speed limiter" tho which means I can now go 348.7 mph if I want to...........lol

Hey guy's, about the throttle sloap questions, the 07-09 JK's throttle tuning was originally too aggressive for most users. Engineering created options to reduce that feature to a more manageable level that's why several options exist in the programmer.

When it came to 2010 the engineer had already rewritten the tune making it unnecessary for the reduced options. That is why 2010 owners don't see that feature.
