Default daystar

I have the dash replacement and there is no space on the sides, perhaps they fixed. I also got the rockers and they are a great fit and easy as heck to wire. I used some EZgrips (same as I use on my blackberry) in the slots and it holds like a charm.

For this to work in the JK, you would actually have to make a raised edge above the profile of the current dash piece and then create a flat area at the bottom.

Wow! Trucks sure have changed in the past thirty years. That's a nice set-up. HBC

Hell, I'd just hate to see it...It's a jeep, not a laundry basket.

The issue that is not as easily fixed is the "gap" along the sides.

Overall, I think it will be a good addition; a nice place to put sunglasses, cell phone, etc.

I haven't driven the rig yet, so still don't know whether things will slide off or not.
The compass fit like OEM. Nice.

Just wish they hadn't stamped the Daystar logo in there.

Also the front lip extends further. I have an aftermarket radio with a pop-up LCD display. I had to do some adjustment on that.

The color seems blacker then my interior(?)

Ditto on the Daystar logo. I love it though and have had this since Christmas. It installed easily and works great for the most part.

How well do things stay in it when your bouncing around while off-roading???
