Glad to hear that. I must be poor in backing up :-(

Picked mine up last night! Dang, forgot how heavy the tongue weight is. It was a struggle unhitching it alone. (Doesn't help I'm stock height - more weight shifted on the tongue) I think I need to add a new jack or something to make it easier on the ol back. It'd prob lighten it up too.

Get one that swivels to the side, so you don't have to crank a lot!

I saw that (first place I clicked on my search) you have first hand knowledge with this one? I'm learie to buy things from HF....last time I did it ended up costing me > 1000 bucks. (Bought a trailer frame from them, half way from San Diego to Phoenix one of the tires passed me on the freeway...tow +now renting a trailer adds up fast )

Well, after looking at trailer jacks, ended up just getting a hi-lift it'll do the lifting and can use it for other stuff too. (Vs buying both)

I have both; the Hi-Lift is mounted on the Jeep, the trailer jack on the trailer! The trailer jacks are really cheap anywhere, not just HF. It is very convenient to have it bolted on there whenever you need it.

Did you buy it assembled, ready to go, or did you put it together?

I think it may have been added after production, it has a crank jack on it - definitely military...the pin the the detachable crank hooks to is sheared so need to drill it out and find something strong enough to insert back in. Maybe tap the hole, put in a small grade 8 bolt and if need be cut the hex off. I haven't had a chance to mess with it yet.

It came with all the sides and tarp- but noticed one of the end seams is unraveled. Not overly concerned about that right now either.

Yeah, the HF trailer was put together by me. Likely over loaded it to be honest. Still, it sucked and let's face it - they aren't known for top quality tools anyway.
