My Aussie is totally silent in 2wd going straight. Don't even know it's there unless I turn VERY sharp.
Still haven't gotten it offroad, but the President of Aussie said it worked perfectly fine when he test drove it after the install.

You're getting had.

I'd recommend Aussie to anyone, just based on my meeting Bill, and seeing it installed in my truck.

I thought Australia had a Prime Minister... not a President...

no issues on or off road. Worth every penny. I was surprised at lack of noise during engage or disengage.

mine was silent going straight but going around corners it clicked and clanked more than i wanted and i got some jerking as it kicked in and out around corner.

what I dont get is how they think the powertrax is the issue and the aussie will fix it? are they not the same design? i really dont see how a locker can make noise like that going straight unless it is broken and rubbing something?

Update : The shop owner test drove it and said he agreed, it's the locker. NO SHIT BRAINIAC There is a pin in the locker, crosspin or somthing that is loose and that's whats rattling. They gotta take some measurements, get back with Richmond gear and I should know what the hell is up by tommorow.

In addition, I'm kinda pissed thet didn't figure this out the day I brought it back after install a month and a half ago. I've been though 2 driveshafts and wait time, a rebuilt transfer case that nothing was wrong with and being without my jk. At least , finally, think it may get fixed sometime this week , or next, or I dunno. Thinkin about just buyin a scooter.

Haha, was about to that point yesterday, don't try to tell me it's normal for a locker to make that kinda noise going straight in 2wd, then he drove it and said oh it's the locker, I'm pretty sure. If everyone had a locker that sounded like mine, no one would be runnin frt auto lockers, ever.
