Default Axle off center question...

So long story short...Last week I leave my Unlimited X with the wife to go get the 12,000 mile check up done at the dealership. She says its going to take a couple of days. So on Friday she pulls up and she had the dealership install a Teraflex 2.5" budget boost, 33" BFG AT's and some aftermarket steel wheels. After my initial elation and test drive, I started looking around and the tires stick out on the passenger side 1" in the front and 1/2" in the back. They are flush with the fender flares on the drivers side. I don't know anything about this stuff but what I have read here and one other place so I am sure you can all set me straight.

Is this a problem? I have read around and it looks like the axle shifting is normal but it seems like a lot to me. Its the first thing you notice when you are standing in front/behind. I am becoming more paranoid each day I drive. Do you think the dealership didn't put the brackets for the Trackbars on correctly? Switched them up? From my ignorant perspective, the axle should have shifted to the drivers side with the lift, not the passenger side. Correct? Incorrect?

I think you all see where I am going with this. I don't know if I have a real problem and if I do how to fix it.

I certainly am not the expert. My Jeep was just lifted and the axle shift on the front was to the driver side. The axle shift on the rear was to the passenger side. I believe this is because the front track bar is mounted to the frame on the drivers side and on the axle on the passenger side. so when the Jeep is lifted it pulls the front axle towards the drivers side. The rear track bar is mounted on the frame on the passengers side and the axle on the drivers side. So when the Jeep is lifted the track bar pulls the rear axle towards the passenger side.

Dave at Northridge can explain it better.

Adjustable track bars solved it for me. I went with JKS.

Maybe the dealership got adjustments way off.

Mods... if I am way off on this please delete it as I don't want anyone having wrong info.

No, I think you are exactly right. Thats what made me start questioning whether something was actually wrong. I think the front should pull to the drivers side and the back to the passenger side. I just went and looked at it and It looks like the front is in a bind or tweaked sideways to the passenger side...Any expert opinions?

My wife purchased the lift from Dave @ Northridge. Any input Dave?

i believe they have the rear track bar mount on the front. that bracket looks like the one that bolts to the frame mount on the factory track bar imo. send some pics to tera flex they will help, but that doenst look right to me. do you have a relocator mount on the rear ?

I don't know what was in the kit. I know my wife bought it from Dave @ Northridge but it was a surprise birthday present so I don't know for sure.

Everyone:

Thanks for the info. I didn't think it looked right at all and I don't even know anything about this stuff. So I think I will be getting this fixed like this afternoon...What if the kit didn't come with the relocation bracket? When I sent my wife the info a few months back I was under the impression that it would have the relocation bracket for the rear but I didn't see the kit and don't know if it was there or not.

What should go in the front then? I think I remember reading that the factory rear bracket moved to the front and the rear should be a new bracket? right/wrong?

YIKES!!

i have to agree with everyone else - that bracket does not belong there and your jeep would be dangerous to drive in this state. so you know, getting rid of the bracket will help correct your axle shift a bit but it will still be off until you can install an adjustable unit.
