Default Ball Joint ?

Ok so my wife has been fighting the dreaded DW and seems no one can figure out what it is, so she takes it to another shop and they tell her the Ball joints are bad, but everything else looks good. Can Bad ball joints cause DW?

YES, and JK ball joints go bad quick. I am on my third set.... 40,000 miles. They have gone bad as quick as 7 thousand and last up to 15 thousand.......

So how hard are they to change out, the shop told her 500 for parts and labor. This is a pain trying to hand all of this from Afghanistan.

That's actually not a bad price. We were quoted about $1K with EOM ball joints a couple months ago . We did them ourselves. Need a press and adapter kit (lots of threads on this if you do a search).

The oem balljoints are shit, chrysler should be embarrassed for using them. The only quality balljoints out their are the prosteers. They cost more but they will last forever. Installing is easy, couple hours max.
