Are you referring to Camber? Yes, 'offset' balljoints will correct camber issues from bent C's.

I have not been quoted anything less than around 650-700 for OEM installed.... and I have been quoted a lot more.... so yes 500 is a great deal... but again you will have to replace these in about a year or less....

If you lived closer be glad to help out... but your a ways away.... maybe someone in your area can help out...... If you want the after market ones have her or you can call Dave at northridge4x4 or Dave at Alpha Ex. Then she just needs someone to help with the install or pay a shop for the install. But again the after market heavy duty are the way to go.

Since mine did last so long, and $600 is kind of out of the question right now for the Dynatracs, I am going to be putting the OEMs back in. Besides, we plan on upgrading our front axle to a 44 at some point. So, I guess it just depends on alot of factors on which ones to get.
Wow 100K miles! That's awesome. We had to opt for the cheapo ones this time around too. Hope to get at least a year out of them and next time hopefully we'll be able to afford the Dynatracs by then.

No. An alignment with bad ball joints is a waste of money.
Bad ball joints allow the knuckles to move around. Anything you set your alignment to on the rack will most likely be different on the road.

There was a good video guide on balljoints on YouTube. Looks easier then you would think.

Not to hijack this thread or anything but, since we are on the topic of ball joints.....if you are getting a kind of wrrrr...wrrr....wrrr sound from what sounds like the front passenger side, could that be a ball joint? First Jeep I have ever owned so just curious on all the little creeks and sounds it makes.

What you describe make me think of a bad wheel bearing.
Jack it up and see if there is play in the hub. You can check the ball joints at the same time.

X2. Just replaced both of my hub bearing units. And balljoints ... which means I am on my 3rd set of ball joints in 44,723 miles. The wobble from the bearings was incredible; I probably had about 3/4" of play at the edge of the tire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so I am curious, my wife takes the jeep to a shop and they tell her the ball joints are bad. So then they check the alignment specs and they are all right it should be, so how could the ball joints be bad and the alignment still good. I would think if the balls joints were bad then so would the alignment. So the wife takes the jeep to another Shop for a second opinion and they say the ball joints were good

I think if you uppers are toast and lowers are good, then your camber may remain in spec. Someone may need to correct me on this one.
