BB Question/Clarification
I have been reading about the BB set up...and I was wondering...is this a body lift? More specifically, will I gain ground clearance to help me not hang up in the middle when going over high angle break overs? I have already determined from this forum that I am not interested in a 4" suspension lift, but I was wondering if the 2.5" BB would give me any more useful clearance on the trail? Also, I am correct that a body lift does not add to clearance, only to accomodate larger tires? Thanks all!
you are correct. the Budget Boost is a suspension lift and will raise the entire jeep giving you more clearance better breakover angle, etc. Body lift just raises the body to accomodate larger tires
Cool. With a BB of 2.5" I can expect to maintain my factory like street ride? Also, what about the levelling issue? Will this give the Jeep a more level look and no more nose-down profile?

As far as the leveling issue i think that you will still have the same factory rake as both spacers are 2.5 inches. I added a 3/4 spacer to the front ones and it was perfect
you can stack front spacers to level out the rake. remember, no lift will raise the axles off the ground, so you will still have to worry about it getting caught. bigger tires will raise the axle.
Check with Teraflex on this. I think there was a recent design change to their 2.5" BB that now uses 2" spacers in the rear to help level the Jeep as opposed to the same 2.5" that the front is raised.

I think you are right...that is exactly what the guy who is doing mine said this morning! Can't wait to get it back!
