Default MY TWo CENTS

I absolutely love my 3" BDS got it at the dealer thus saving my waranty (lifetime bumper to bumper) that is why I went with them. I will say I am damb glad I did, check out the flex with this kit on the JK-Ramp day thread. I am way up there and 2nd only to a few guys that prob. have 5-10k in suspension to my $650.00. The ride is awsome way better than stock, and I do not need all the added components to take the price in the stratusphere. I would not only recommend them I would strongly encourage people research COMPARABLE kits before just reading the typical response on here of "X" brand is best because they are a forum sponser. The kit that was compared to the BDS kit was not comparable it was a top of the line kit compared to the entry model BDS kit. Here is a comparison that is fair:

Just trying to present all sides here. If you look at there site BDS-suspension.com you can add all the components you want to a lift and customize exaclty what you want and the price is very competitive with other manufacturers.

In addition the lift they offer will correct the rake, mine did, but then I added a winch and a bumper (200+lbs) which brought me back down about 1/2" so if you are running that combo add a spacer, I am going to put one in soon and all will be well.

I have never seen anyone say anything bad about BDS lifts. Only complaint I have seen is people saying that the springs have sagged down. Not that big of a deal IMO, many kits do. I have had kits similar to BDS in the past (skyjacker, superlift, etc.) And I think all of those are fine. After having a kit with heim joints and adj. arms, etc. I will not ever go back to that type of kit personally, but my needs and wants are not the same as yours. Every aspect of my jeeps driving, handling, and ride is now improved. I never knew before that the jeep could ride, and drive better lifted on 35" tires than it did stock. I always thought "well this drives pretty good for being on XX" tall tires."

I think he will be very happy with his lift, and getting the adj. arms wil make it drive great. I can't wait to see it!!!

btw... that jeep is super sexy boots!!!

Is that an AEV hood and bumper. Change the color to jeep green and that should be mine in about six months. My hood will be on its way no later than the first week in April and as soon as they release the rear bumper I'm in line for the frount, rear and skid plate.

I have the BDS lift and like it. The shocks I have make it ride a little stiffer. Get something with gas shocks. Good luck in your decision.

AEV Hood with ARB Deluxe Bumper. Front turn signal slots are welded in on bumper, makes it look alot like the AEV.....
