If I have that much of an issue I will put my Jeep on jack stand and run down to a local tire shop to separate the tires for me, so I can mount the tires on the rims at home. If my current ARB Twin and the ratchet strap method can't seat the bead, then Ill drive back down to the shop and just have them put air in it. Its a huge PIA, but if its saying me from paying $40 per tire or $100 per tire, I'm ok with that.
No one will touch beadlocks. Huge liability. And it takes more than 4 hours to do that job right. They just torque crap down and call it good. Take your current wheels to a shop to dismount. You can't do it at home safely. Broke my wrist trying.

I'd skip the beads and get a regular balance. If it doesn't work, then get beads. Why? Well, beads don't work for a lot of people. If they don't work for you, guess what? You get to unmount and remount your tires all over again.

Yeah I have been watching videos and have definitely come to the conclusion of brining them into a shop to dismount and pay whatever price it is per tire. The 4x4 shop here will balance them for me, so ill pay for them to seat the bead and balance, then bring home to mount up. Doing it this way ill just knock out 3 tires one day and 2 the next or something like that. But this won't cost me $200 or $400 these places are wanting to charge me.

breaking the bead isint that hard. you can do it with a 2x4 and a small block of 2x4 or a coke bottle jack. after that just pop them off.

Have you actually tried? I tossed away two days trying to do it. All the stupid YouTube ideas. Broke a harbor freight bead breaker. Maybe a little tire on a 15" rim is easy, but a 37" on a beadlock is not. I put a high lift jack on mine and under the rear bumper of my full size truck. Lifted the rear wheels off the ground and didn't break the bead.

Look at my Jeep. There's essentially nothing I can't do. Removing tires? Screw that. $40 and 30 min at Discount Tire. Done.

Yeah some of them r pains in the rear. I can remember when I use to race , some of the bead locks we had to drive over the tire with the one ton pickup to bust the bead on the back. But some of them were easy. The things we would do while out on the road or at the tracks.

Haha. I tried driving over the tire with my truck. No dice. Literally, I was determined and tried everything.

I agree about the beads. I ran them for a year and a half in my methods and ended up going with road force balancing. Way better!

Had to use my hi-lift jack in my trailer hitch receiver to break my inner beads. Then I made a makeshift nozzle for my shop vac to suck all the beads out as I pried the tire open. It was super fun!!!

Skip this step...get it balanced.

Well if you do things yourself its take a lot more work than paying someone to do everything for you and drive away.
