Default Best coilover choice?

Have a 07 JK i'm doing a 5.3 swap in this summer with the motec kit, going to do 60 in the front maybe 14 bolt rear just need guidance on coilovers! Rebels bolt on kit sounds great but are the weld ons a better option? Thanks!!

If you're doing an engine swap and a full width swap skip any of the bolt on options and do towers in the front and outboard your rear.

Yep, just do a custom set up since you are doing all that work in the engine bay anyway. There are far more choices and options that are much cheaper then the bolt on route. You will be able to optimize the mounting locations as well.

I also considering rear coilovers and read a lot about all the bolt on kits ( EVO mfg ) but are they giving the best geometry with the lower mounts, what do you guys think about the angle of this kind of kits, they leaned back and in board.. I prefer to start on top or beside the axle an not so far under the axle.
Does that always means that I have to cut through the tub ??

I don't care for the bolt on rear coil overs out there unless you want more then 12"of travel out back I would stay with a standard coil shock set up. More then 12" of travel you will; be in the tub and doing some frame removal.

No they're not, but getting the best geometry on a full bodied rig, not possible, unless you cut it to pieces. You're going to have to compromise geometry for packaging on a full body rig.

Thanks for the responses! Has anyone done weld on mounts with a 5.3, i see a lot of talk about engine room clearance and I'd like to run 16 inch front and rear, from what i understand the 5.3 actually fits a little better than the newer 3.6 somehow so hopefully no problems, but do most people run evos weld on kit?

You max out front drive shaft angles with 14" front shocks.
