Default Best Gear size for 33's on a 2012

I am about to re-gear my 2012 Arctic edition and I am wondering what is the best gear size. I have the 3.6 6 speed with 33's and that is probably the biggest size i will go. My Jeep is used as a 3rd vehicle and I take it to Colorado once a year to trail ride. I am thinking 4:10 or 4:56 but would like everyone's opinion before I buy. I did do a search and couldn't find what I was looking for. I am running 3:21's now.

4:10 is perfect and even allows a little room if you ever go to 35"s

Yea that's what I was thinking too, but didn't know if the 4:56 was better. I did't want to go 4:10's and then wish I would have went with the 4:56's..

Problem with 4.10 gears is price. Much more than any other ratio.

I have a 6 speed with 33's and 3.73 gears.

Lots of power and I have never needed to down shift in 6th to pass. 70 is about 2100-2200 RPMS
I think its perfect.

If you decide on 4.10's, why not see if you can find a pair of rubicon take-off axles? Older ones are 4.10 only, newer years have either 3.73 or 4.10, and you'll get lockers and upgraded front gears as a bonus. Might be worth comparing prices, anyway.

I also have 2014 6sp with 3:73 and I'm good with it. I'd say 4:56 would be too much.

Oh and I have 35s too so I'm sure 33s would be fine. 4:10 at most

You are right, nearly double the price as the 4:56's. I have a set of 3:73 that came out of my 08 that only had 20,000 miles on them. That might be worth looking into.
