Check out the chart, though. A stock Rubi with 4.10's is turning just over 2500rpm at 70mph. A 4.56-geared 3.6 at the same speed is only turning slightly higher RPM's. The 3.6 has good power, but it's not making a whole lot in that 2000-2200 range which is where 3.73's would put it.

If you go by the chart 4:10 is the perfect gear, because the range is so wide. You can run 32 to 35 and stay in the green. Like I said the only time I see were I need more gear with the 3.6 in on the highway and trails. since the speed limit is 75 here in Texas 6th gear is useless.

I'm from Texas.

Have a 2015 JK Sport with 6 speed and 3.73's with 33's

I think its perfect at 70 I am about 2200-2350 rpms. Unless I need to pass very quickly I can leave it in 6th and just accelerate without a single issue. First gear use is about 0-15mph or so on regular driving. I have never needed to down shift to pass someone. For a daily driver I love 3.73's in 4low it also crawls pretty good.

I wouldn't recommend installing used gears in a different axle housing

I just put 33"s on my 2013 JKUS with 3.73s. I am going to have to say that for 33" the 4.10s would be ideal.

Don't get me wrong. 3.73's and 33''s are fine but I can see where I'd be able to put more power to the ground in certain situations with 4.10's. I'm just glad I insisted in 3.73's when I bought our Jeep.
