I have used the RR and returned them cuz of visibility issues. I then bought Olympic 4x4. They work for the JK, and minimum shaking with a decent size mirror. But keep in mind that going 70 mph a lot of the mirrors out there will shake. It will be hard to find something that fits everything your looking for. You might have to give and take a little .

do you have a link or anything for the olympic4x4 mirrors?

I realize it is hard to find something that covers everything i am looking for. but why should it be? i mean, just about every member on here would like something that does all of this. with such high demand, how has no company actually produced a real working mirror yet??

so far the best thing going is this:

anyone got use this and got any comments on it?
The link you attached is for a YJ mirror ...
I like the Die Tech but I think I'm going to get a 2nd set of mirrors so I don't have to take them on and off everytime. Mount one set on the brackets and leave the others on the doors.

a couple washers on the bolt to spead the 2 mounting points out a bit, and it fits the JK.

13MM wrench, 2 harley mirrors = good to go in less than 2 minutes. One mirror under each seat = safe until needed.
it takes my wife longer to get the dogs in the back seat and buckled in than me setting the mirrors.

I love 'em.

I plan on stopping at Autozone today to pick up my mirrors.

Nice little mirror from AutoZone for under $16.00 / Simple to install

Why not get a set of non-powered mirrors from the junkyard and setting that up on the mount? Then you just unmount it when putting your doors on (which still have the mirrors in the stock spot)

I'll second the Harley mirrors. Quick and easy. But does use the hinge so it won't work with your future tube doors.

The Dietech mirror system is a bit involved but it would only take me 3 minutes per side to smake the swap. Plus, it makes storing the doors much easier.

With that said, I was able to pick up a set of stock mirrors for $80 which I permanently put on the dietech brackets so now I can skip the removal part. I'm guessing i saved myslef 2 minutes per side!

And the new mirrors I got (from a friend that works at a parts distributor) are way beefier than the stock mirrors on my Rubi. The bolt in area is actually alumimum rather then the plastic or my regular stock ones. Weird!

so the Dietech is not the cheapest solution but if you can get your hands on a second set of factory mirrors to bolt onto them, you get factory mirrors and factory viewing with them and no vibrations.

Just ordered a set of the YJ mirrors found here.

From the looks of it, this could be about the best solution out there--meant to be permanent for a YJ so (hopefully) sturdy enough for minimal shaking, small enough to toss under the seats, allows the original mirrors to stay on my doors, cheaper than just about anything out there (including a lot of the Harley mirrors), comes as a pair, and doesn't interfere with the door hinges in the event I go for tube doors later.

It's almost too good to be true. I'll post pics/comments once I give them a go.

Also picked up a Bestop trail cover so I can just leave the top down/doors off for about the next six months.
