What part of the title to this thread does this apply to? Help me understand what 16" black steel rims have to do with rubber for 18" stock Sahara rims. Read the title of the thread, he's not interested in hearing about your Corvette, nor Hummer, nor lawn tractor ect. He wants to know "What are the Best Tires for Stock Rims on 08 Sahara Unlimited". Which part is confusing?

Everyone calm down ...

Let's see some pics of stock 18's with new rubber please. I am leaning towards 275/70/18 DuraTrac's but I'd love to see some different options!!!

You are more or less in the same boat I am in. I have stock Sahara rims and no interest really in getting different wheels. I do have a 2.5" coil boost and recently installed my Spidertrax spacers which give even the stock Duelers a wider more aggressive look.

Ultimately, 275/70/18 (33x11x18) is the size I have settled on. At this time, I will either go with the Nitto Terra Grapplers or the new Goodyear Duratrac. I am leaning toward the Duratrac as it is a more aggressive looking AT and has the "snowflake" for winter driving requirements. Also it is a "D" rated tire, so should be more comfortable than many of the larger E rated.

Based on all the research I have done on this matter through this forum, even the 275/70 will likely rub a bit without spacers and at least a budget boost, but only if you are flexing or doing lock to lock turns.

You might drop to a 265/70 if you want to avoid issues, but that is not getting you much different than your stock tires.

For now, I have decided the Duelers are good enough for my purposes so will probably run then for a while before upgrading.

That is a pretty harsh generalization. It is really unnecessary to talk like that on a public forum becuase you had some petty disagreement. Way to go cool guy.

Try running a 33x12.50R18 Toyo M/T or look at the Nitto Mud Grappler in a 33x12.50R18...but you will need the spacers.....both look like great tires....but dang the 18's are nuts for price.

Why does everyone keep saying that...I'm only seeing a ~$20 each difference between 17" and 18" on the Toyos
