I'm going to unbolt the hinges from the body and the use a rubber mallet to try and beat them off the door.

I used a few of the bungee balls...tarp bungees...and wrapped them around the roll bar and rear aluminum bar to keep the flapping to a minimum. It also prevents the rear part of the top from falling down.

Rotate the balls toward the inside and leave them on all the time. They don't get in the way at all.

These guys....

IIRC there's no paint under the hinges and you have to cut the paint around the hinge. My tailgate hinges had rust under them when I was installing a Teraflex hinge.

I think I just decided not to buy a bestop for my 2011 2 door! Ain't nobody else to choose from so I guess it's hardtop or put the factory top back on!

My problem was my own fault.
Now that I have it installed correctly I have no flapping at all. I love this top.

But I live in Florida and a hard top is useless IMO lol

What is it about the steel pipe that keeps it from flapping? The weight?

OK... I Love Trextop NX on my Unlimited.....but here is the only problem I have with it. When you are out and about and decide to remove the windows.....What do you do with them? How do you keep from destroying your windows????
